I’ve been a bit quiet of late on the social media scene especially on my blog.. oops!
My work is to blame I’ve been so distracted and engrossed… working to another tight deadline. I’ve got all carried away, tucked up in my workshop generating new ideas and designs… at the moment they’re top-secret but if all goes to plan I will reveal these exciting developments in good time…. !
Meanwhile I still haven’t forgotten all the reminders from my visit to New Designers recently… it’s always an ongoing work in progress!
Anyway future developments aside, my latest textile jewellery collection, Seasons, Blue Summer has travelled from The Makers Guild in Wales, Craft in the Bay, Cardiff to Nicola Hurst Gallery, Plymouth. ‘INTRINSIC’ A textile jewellery exhibition curated by Mandy Nash is on until the 30th August, 2015 so if you’re in Plymouth be sure to visit!
Read more about this collection, further details of tour dates and participating makers here.
These pendants seem to be the stars of the collection so far – what do you think?

The Intrinsic Exhibition will then tour onto the Craft Centre and Design Gallery, Leeds from 5th September – 17th October, 2015 just in time for Autumn which leads onto my next question…
What colour do you associate with Autumn?
I wonder if we share the same thinking as the next pieces for Seasons are in the making…. !
Please comment below and as always, thanks for reading!
A creative person is so often ‘doing’ Kathryn it is hard to find the moments to write! Another enjoyable read. Best wishes Adrian
